An early dose of momentum helped Smithville to a 41-14 runaway past West Salem Northwestern in an Ohio high school football matchup on Oct. 3.

In recent action on Sept. 19, Smithville faced off against Apple Creek Waynedale and West Salem Northwestern took on Doylestown Chippewa on Sept. 19 at Chippewa High School.
