WKU women’s golf head coach Adam Gary is among 156 golfers competing in the 107th Kentucky Open held right here in Bowling Green this year at Indian Hills Country Club. Over the course of three days, both professional and amateur golfers compete for one of Kentucky’s most prestigious golf championship titles. It also helps him be a better coach, knowing how to teach his players while keeping his own game sharp.“ I think it’s important as a coach to keep your competitiveness up to where you can relate to the players,” Gary said. So I think it helps to relate, and it kind of gives me some perspective to help me coach.”
