JAMESTOWN — A power outage briefly affected 750 Jamestown customers on Tuesday, July 28, according to Otter Tail Power Co.Sarah Derosier, brand strategy specialist, said the outage was reported at 1:15 p.m. and restored by 1:45 p.m.
Initial numbers reported 1,014 customers were affected, but that number was corrected to 750, she said.
ADVERTISEMENT“A piece of equipment came into contact with an electric line, and that caused damage to the line, but no one was injured, and crews were able to respond and make the necessary repairs quickly and safely,” Derosier said.
