Rowland has been in four seasons of the Netflix series, Sweet Magnolias, where he played the character Tyler ‘Ty’ Townsend, the son of Maddie Townsend, played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Reba). According to Deadline, Rowland left the show to pursue other projects since he faced conflicts while filming season four of the series. Among those projects he starred in The Queen’s Jewel and co-executive produced The Testament of Ann Lee. More recently, he has had a recurring role in the NBC pilot The Rockford Files and guest starred in Ryan Murphy’s The Beauty.
