Death in Augusta being investigated as a homicide: OPPThe Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a person in Augusta Township as a homicide. Article contentOn Wednesday, July 8, shortly before 3:30 p.m., members of the Grenville County OPP attended a home on County Road 26 where one person was found dead. The Grenville County OPP Crime Unit is conducting the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance is being provided by the OPP’s Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, Forensic Identification Services and the East Region Community Street Crime Unit.
