The Offspring have strayed from high-speed punk rock a handful of times throughout their 40-year-long career, including on some of their biggest singles, but this year they’ve been doing some fan service for those who want “just the punk stuff.” They released a digital compilation album called Just The Punk Stuff with 20 of the fastest songs in their catalog, including some stuff from their 1989 self-titled debut album that they haven’t played live in decades, and they have two “Just The Punk Stuff” shows in Canada coming up in just a few days. It goes down at Asbury Park venue The Stone Pony on September 18, one day before The Offspring play the festival, and it’s being presented by Sea.Hear.Now.
