JAIPUR, July 28: Rajasthan Police has arrested 744 hardcore criminals and taken legal action against 1,715 identified offenders during the first week of its month-long statewide special campaign launched under the state government’s zero-tolerance policy against crime. Bikaner Range recorded the highest action with 83 NDPS cases and 110 arrests, followed by Jaipur Commissionerate (48 cases), Kota Range (41 cases) and Jaipur Range (34 cases). Jaipur Commissionerate recovered more than ₹68 lakh, while Jaipur Range recovered over ₹58 lakh. Over 2.9 Lakh Vehicles CheckedPolice established 9,683 checkpoints across Rajasthan and inspected 290,201 vehicles during the campaign. Focus on Women’s Safety and Community PolicingAs part of the campaign, Rajasthan Police organised 3,199 awareness programmes focusing on women’s safety.
