The Men's Night Out on October 28, organised by Central Bournemouth Primary Care Network social prescribers, will feature live comedy, talks and healthy living tips. Men aged 50 to 74 from James Fisher Medical Centre, Moordown Medical Centre, the Panton Practice and St Albans Medical Centre are invited to attend. This age group has been identified by national and local data as being less inclined to participate in routine bowel screening. The night will include talks from Dorset Bowel Screening, LiveWell Dorset, With You and Cancer Matters Wessex, all focused on the importance of early detection and healthy living. Sarah Gallagher, social prescriber at Central Bournemouth PCN, said: "Our goal is to create a memorable evening that resonates long after it ends, turning laughter into action.
