Local charity PramaLife will host the initiative at Wimborne's Allendale Centre on Thursday, November 19, from 9am to 12.30pm. More than 30 local organisations will attend the event, providing information and support to carers. This event will be in support of National Carers Rights Day and aims to inform carers about the support available to them. The organisers say that the majority of carers are "unaware of the types of support that is widely available to them and how they can access these resources and information". PramaLife provides support groups for people living with dementia, memory loss, ill health, disability, age related issues and their carers.
