Mark Cam, senior investigator at Maritime and Coastguard Agency assisted Dorset Police in the investigation of the death of David Haw after he was found dead in Poole Harbour in May 2022. He said: “I have to compliment Dorset Police because they put a lot of effort in it. “They have a lot of calls on their times and resources, but they put a lot of time into this. We worked well together.”An episode of Coastguard, a weekly documentary series on Channel 5, aired on Wednesday evening which highlighted the investigation into David Haw's death. “Losing a child is never going to be good, but when it’s an only child… it’s been really awful for the family.”
