The Humane Society of North Central Florida is offering pet owners a way to ensure their animals are cared for if they become unable to do so through its Happy Tails Planned Giving Program.
See Member BenefitsJoin Our NewsletterThe Happy Tails Program offers two enrollment options:Pre-Payment Option: Pet owners complete the enrollment materials and establish an adoption file for each pet.
Deferred Payment Option: Pet owners may arrange for payment through their estate using life insurance or other planned giving arrangements administered by an attorney.
Humane Society officials said the program allows pet owners to make advance plans for their companions while ensuring the animals receive individualized care and are placed in homes that fit their unique personalities and needs.
