Wiltshire Council has announced that Bremilham Road and Pool Gastons Road will close to all traffic from Monday, July 27. Bremilham Road will shut from its junction with Bristol Street to its junction with Pool Gastons Road. Pool Gastons Road will close from its junction with Bremilham Road for about 27 metres in a south-westerly direction. Bremilham Road's alternative route involves Pool Gastons Road, St Aldhelm Road, Park Road, Gloucester Road, The Triangle, Bristol Street, Harpers Lane, and vice versa. Pool Gastons Road's alternative route will be via Pool Gastons Road (unaffected length), Avon Road, Alexander Road, Old Alexander Road, St. Aldhelm Road, and back along Pool Gastons Road (unaffected length).
