The federal government has received a digital maturity score of 88.3 in the latest ANZ benchmarking by Intermedium.
Commenting on the findings, Digital Transformation CEO Chris Fechner said the assessment reflected Australia’s responsible approach to AI and best practice mechanisms to inform users of AI interactions.
“The result reflects a decade of work to strengthen the foundations of digital government,” Fechner said.
“It also shows the shift now underway across Australia and New Zealand: from agency-by-agency digital services to more coordinated whole-of-government platforms.”
