When you think of automotive manufacturing excellence, you might picture established factories with decades of history, but BMW Group Plant Debrecen evidently didn’t get the memo.
Located in Hungary, this cutting-edge facility has just achieved something remarkable, producing 50,000 BMW iX3 vehicles in just nine months, marking the fastest ramp-up of a new BMW Group plant in the company’s history.
The BMW iX3 isn’t your average new model launch.
As Hans-Peter Kemser, President and CEO of BMW Group Plant Debrecen, highlighted, the plant is “helping shape the future of the BMW Group’s global production network.”
BMW Group Plant Debrecen has proven it can do all three simultaneously.
