(Millard County, UT) — A new wildfire has sparked in the central Utah area. According to state officials, the Widemouth 2 Fire is burning in Millard County. It started Monday night in the Fishlake National Forest south of Kanosh and has grown fast to over 4,300 acres with zero percent containment. Gusty winds have been a factor in the speed of the fire’s growth. Officials say lightning is the suspected cause of the blaze and, at this point, no structures have been threatened.
