HILLSBOROUGH, N.C.—Adam & Eve surveyed more than 2,000 American adults for National Orgasm Day on July 31, exploring masturbation preferences as part of its commitment to sexual health and wellness. The results showed that while manual stimulation remains most common, many adults also incorporate sex toys, erotic media, and fantasy into their solo sexual wellness routines. Among respondents who use sex toys, nearly 35 percent said they experience more intense orgasms during solo play than they do with a partner, highlighting the role that self-exploration can play in sexual satisfaction. Adam & Eve’s resident sex therapist, Dr. Jenni Skyler, said, "There isn’t one 'right' way to masturbate. The web-based survey conducted by an independent third-party company was commissioned by Adam & Eve as part of its ongoing research into sexual wellness and behavior.
