Apple is launching Apple Upgrade today, a new hardware leasing program that will let US customers lease an iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad and upgrade to a newer device at the end of the lease term. Apple Upgrade is launching in partnership with Klarna, and it’s available today at Apple Store locations in the US, as well as the online Apple Store and the mobile app. Apple Upgrade offers 12- and 24-month leasing options for the iPhone 17e, iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, with prices starting at $17.99 per month. Customers who choose to purchase an Apple device through Apple Upgrade can still add an AppleCare subscription to protect their products. “With the launch of Apple Upgrade, Apple will no longer offer the iPhone Upgrade Program and iPhone Payments in the United States.
