Carson City Juvenile Services to host Community Engagement Night this Thursday

High risk youth behaviors and the dangers of social media are among the topics to be highlighted at Thursday’s Community Engagement Night hosted by Carson City Juvenile Services.
Parents, students and the community members are invited to the monthly meeting, happening July 30 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Juvenile Services facility, 740 South Saliman Road.
During the event, Juvenile Services Outreach Specialist, Gabbie Sanfilippo and Mayela Quintanilla will speak about high-risk youth behaviors and identify the red flags.
CCJS will also discuss the dangers of social media, substance use, peer pressure that may impact teenagers.
Carson City Juvenile Services offers walk-in and crisis intervention services to anyone in the community in need of supportive services with their youth.
