Spider-Man star Tom Holland may have let slip an uncertain future for the superhero character in the MCU. During the promotional tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Holland’s comment about the franchise’s next step may have left fans in a daze. Neither Marvel Studios nor Sony Pictures have officially announced a fifth film. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out about the hero’s fate when Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31. It remains to be seen when and if Tom Holland will return in a fifth Spider-Man film.
