Imagine being a high school student, already exhausted from the state of the world and your fluctuating hormones. In Massachusetts, menstrual products are not accessible to everyone. The I AM Bill, An Act to Increase Access to Disposable Menstrual Products, is our chance to change that. But the cost of providing pads and tampons in restrooms is minimal compared to the toll of period poverty on education, health and dignity. The truth is, we already know how to fix the problem of period poverty.
