The Dental for All coalition welcomes the Green Party’s commitment to publicly delivered, free dental care for everyone and support for by-Māori for-Māori services in their new election manifesto. “As an oral health therapist, I believe that oral health is a universal right, not a privilege. The PSA represents the public oral health workforce and is a member of the Dental for All coalition. The provision of dental care is patchy, and is so expensive that many families now avoid going to the dentist at all. “It’s great to see the Greens are ready to put oral health back where it belongs, in the public system.
