The group in up to 20 caravans arrived late this afternoon on the public space by Ombersley Memorial Hall, forcing the closure of a children’s play area. The green and play area are owned by the Memorial Hall Trust but are open for public access for the benefit of the community. The incident comes after a large group travellers left land at Battenhall Playing Fields in Worcester earlier today.
