Florida State athletic director Michael Alford made a mistake. On Monday, Florida State announced that in Fiscal Year 2026, it broke donation records with $106 million in pledges and $86 million in cash contributions. Could it possibly go to Mike Norvell's $50+ million buyout if the seventh-year head coach of the Seminoles gets off to a slow start in 2026? Florida State didn’t.
