Visakhapatnam: Elaborate arrangements are being put in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on August 1 for the grand launch of Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram. Examining the preparations closely, Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed the premises on Tuesday. Ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival, the Union Minister and IT Minister inspected the airport and took stock of the arrangements made for the inauguration, including security. Later, Nara Lokesh held a comprehensive review meeting with Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, state ministers, senior officials and representatives of GMR. Ram Mohan Naidu and Nara Lokesh issued several key instructions to ensure smooth coordination and effective crowd management during the event.
