Nandyal: Demonstrating a swift response to public grievances, Nandyal District Collector G Raja Kumari conducted a field inspection of Budaga Jangala Colony in Nandyal town on Tuesday, ordering the immediate establishment of a new Anganwadi centre.
Reacting promptly, the Collector directed Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) officials to set up a center without delay and ensure complete enrollment of all eligible beneficiaries.
During her visit, Collector Raja Kumari also inspected the local Municipal Primary School, currently functioning from a rented building with 104 students.
After interacting with teachers, students, and parents regarding severe space constraints, she assured them that the district administration would initiate measures to secure land and construct a permanent school building.
Municipal Commissioner Sheshanna, District Educational Officer Janardhan Reddy, and ICDS Project Director Leelavathi accompanied the Collector.
