Kalyanadurg: MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu distributed free bicycles to rural students at Mulakaledu ZP High School in Shettur mandal on Tuesday. Sponsored by the SRC Trust, the initiative will provide 7,300 bicycles worth ₹5 crore to Class 9, 10, and Intermediate students commuting from remote villages across the constituency. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stated that the bicycles were being gifted with affection to ease daily commuting difficulties and ensure uninterrupted education. Former TDP leader Karanam Rammohan Chowdary, Valmiki Corporation Director Ramakrishna, Market Yard Chair Golla Lakshmidevi, and local MEOs attended the distribution drive.
