Rajamahendravaram: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was successfully completed in East Godavari district on July 25, District Election Officer and Collector Kirti Chekuri said. The collector stated that election forms were distributed to all 18,46,723 registered voters in the district, of which 16,65,712 forms, accounting for 90.20 per cent, have been digitised. She said the exercise was successfully carried out with coordinated efforts by Booth Level Officers (BLOs), election staff and revenue officials across the district. According to the Collector, a total of 44,957 ASD (Absent, Shifted, Dead) discrepancies were identified during the revision process. The collector further informed that 85,205 anomaly cases were detected across the district, representing only 4.61 per cent of the total electorate.
