Eluru: Chairman of the Twenty-Point Programme Implementation Committee (Viksit Bharat–Swarna Andhra), Lanka Dinakar, has directed officials to make Eluru a model district by prioritising the protection of Kolleru Lake, quality education, healthcare, safe drinking water, and rural infrastructure in line with the visions of Viksit Bharat @2047 and Swarna Andhra @2047.
Reviewing the implementation of Central and State flagship programmes at the Eluru District Collectorate, Dinakar stressed that the conservation of Kolleru Lake, a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, must receive top priority.

He also instructed officials to complete Jal Jeevan Mission and AMRUT projects on schedule and develop long-term drinking water plans.
