Bhimavaram: The Department of Civil Engineering at SRKR Engineering College will organise a two-day international conference titled ‘Sustainable Advancement in Green Infrastructure 2026 (SAGI-2026)’ on August 7 and 8, College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma announced.
Releasing the conference poster on Tuesday, Nishanth Varma said the event would bring together researchers, academicians, industry experts and policymakers from across the country and abroad to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure development.
College Director Dr M Jagapathi Raju, Principal Dr KV Muralikrishna Raju, and Head of the Civil Engineering Department Dr G Sribala said the conference would serve as an international platform for sharing cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and promoting collaboration to address global infrastructure challenges through sustainable practices.
Conference Coordinator and Dean (R&D) Dr T Vamsi Nagaraju said Dr CH Ravi Shankar, Director of the CSIR–Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), will be the chief guest at the inaugural session.
Experts from leading institutions, including IITs and NITs, will also participate, presenting the latest research and technological advancements in green infrastructure.
