An 18-year-old Crossville man faces criminal court proceedings following a tense altercation at Centennial Park that allegedly saw a firearm pulled on parkgoers after a basketball game.
Rylan Lane Norton is scheduled to appear in Cumberland County General Sessions Court on July 30, 2026, on charges of aggravated assault stemming from the March incident.
Investigators used vehicle descriptions and license plate details to track the car to Parkside Place.
Later that night, officers discovered a discarded black Taurus G2C 9mm handgun in the woods near Parkside Place.
Norton was arrested at the scene, booked into the Cumberland County Justice Center, and originally held on a $10,000 bond.
