In a month from today, Natacha Simões releases her debut Maripool album Rotten Luck. The Lisbon-born, London-based singer-songwriter unveiled the compelling lead single "Crossing" last month, and now she's back with a dark, cathartic anthem called "Favourite." "Favourite," she explains, is about "the quiet unraveling of a relationship and the way the mind begins to drift elsewhere before things have fully ended. Sometimes all a song needs is a good, satisfying buildup — and "Favourite" has just that. Rotten Luck is out 8/28 via Smoking Room / Lost Wisdom.
