After discovering Lithium mines in Reasi district of Jammu division, the Government of India (GoI) is all set to auction Kishtwar’s Sapphire mines in a “scientific way”. The LG also paid obeisance at holy Shri Chandi Mata Machail shrine located near Sapphire mines. Speaking on the occasion, Lt Governor expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for extending the support for survey, gemmological studies of Sapphire mines. Moreover as per GOI sources auction of lithium reserves found in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi will be started by December. Lt Governor also visited the Buddhist Gompa at Paddar, where he sought blessings of the Lord Buddha and interacted with the members of the Buddhist community.
