EXCLUSIVE: Amazon is developing a new half-hour comedy from stand-up Atsuko Okatsuka and Josh Rabinowitz, sources tell Deadline. Hiro Murai will exec produce for Chum Films, alongside Ramy Youssef for Cairo Cowboy, Entertainment 360, Okatsuka and Rabinowitz. As a producer, Youssef’s recent credits include his HBO special Ramy Youssef: In Love and the Amazon series #1 Happy Family USA, which he created with Pam Brady. As an actor, recent credits include HBO’s Mountainhead and an appearance on Apple’s The Studio. He is repped by WME, Entertainment 360, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
