A Houston man alleges he found what appeared to be a fried condom inside a piece of Popeyes chicken.
According to Houston Stringer, the customer claims he found the foreign object baked directly into his fried chicken after ordering a meal from the Popeyes on South Sam Houston Parkway West.
Houston activists Dr. Candice Matthews and Quanell X visited the restaurant on July 27, where they met with management and called for a full internal investigation.
During the same appearance, Quanell X alleged the condom appeared to have been used, adding, “You have some freak in the kitchen.”
Houston Stringer reported that Quanell X said his concerns focus on the specific restaurant involved rather than the Popeyes brand as a whole.
