Retha Jean DeHaven, age 67, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 29, 1958, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Harold G. Stockdale and Florence E. VanNoy. Retha enjoyed joking around in typical Retha style with her co-workers. Along with her parents, Retha is preceded in death by her husband, Richard DeHaven, a step-father, Gerald VanNoy; and significant other, Tom Trotter. The Snyder Funeral Homes in Mount Vernon are honored to serve the family of Retha Jean DeHaven.
