After mass, there were ushers handing out voter guides in the lobby. A couple years ago, a well-known Catholic priest photoshopped an image of himself with Donald Trump’s hair. Therein lies one of the many flaws of said voter guides. During my brief time as a state legislator, I remember visiting with a nationally recognized and respected member of the pro-life movement. When it comes to voters’ guides being pitched by churches, regardless of the denomination, my advice remains the same: Throw the damn things away.
