Coffee Regional Medical Center and the South Georgia State College Foundation have entered into an updated Gift Acceptance Agreement that enhances the impact of a longstanding endowment established by the hospital to support South Georgia State College students. Up to two scholarships to assist South Georgia State College students with on-campus living expenses, including housing, meal plans, and other related costs. Recipients will be selected by the South Georgia State College Foundation in accordance with Foundation policies and the College’s non-discrimination standards. For decades, Coffee Regional Medical Center has invested in student success through its endowment with the South Georgia State College Foundation. “At Coffee Regional Medical Center, we believe investing in education is an investment in the future of healthcare,” said Vicki Lewis, President and CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center.
