Mississaugi First Nation, just outside of Blind River, held its 45th annual Pow Wow over the weekend of July 18-19.
Article contentThe event took place at the sacred traditional grounds in Mississaugi First Nation on the shores of Lake Duborne.
Grand Entry took place on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., with Sunday’s Grand Entry taking place at noon.
The head female dancer was Shannon Gustafson while Ryan Gustafson performed as head male dancer.
The male head elder was Wes Whetung, and Leona Stevens was head female elder.
