As of Tuesday, July 14, there have been 453 wildland fires across Ontario. There were three new wildland fires reported in northeastern Ontario on July 13 and 10 new ones on July 14. In the Northwest Region of Ontario there were 26 new wildland fires discovered by the evening of July 14. There was a yellow air quality warning issued for the district of Greater Sudbury, which indicates a high risk. For the Espanola and Manitoulin areas it is an orange level air quality risk which is a high-to-extreme risk.
