Watlington Community Property (WCP) has raised around half of the £600,000 it aims to collect to acquire the properties and keep them community-owned.
The group is focused on acquiring commercial freeholds on Watlington High Street, permanently holding them in community ownership.
Mrs Van de Pette's shop, located at 2 High Street, is the group's top priority to purchase.
They also have their eyes on 6 High Street, known as Watlington Arcade, and 26 High Street, a former bicycle repair shop.
The group plans to conduct a community share offer, allowing people to invest and buy a share to become co-owners of these properties.
