Follow us onBudgam, Sep 23: AYUSH Health and Wellness Centre, Kenihama celebrated the 10th Ayurveda Day here Tuesday with series of activities under this year’s theme ‘Ayurveda for People & Planet’. As per a statement issued here, the celebrations were held under the guidance of District AYUSH Officer Budgam, Dr. Firdous Malik. She said that the observance of Ayurveda Day reflects the collective resolve to harness the full potential of Ayurveda for global wellbeing and a healthier planet. As part of the programme, lectures were delivered on the role of Ayurveda in healthy living and disease management. Besides, Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening of individuals was undertaken, while special focus was laid on anaemia screening of the needy people.
