The business has had a long-standing restaurant element, but in recent years has concentrated instead on takeaway meals. The statement said the micro bar would have a large bar area with table seating for 30 people and also consist of a storeroom, bin storage and men’s/women’s/disabled toilets. The opening hours of the existing takeaway would remain the same, with the new bar operating from 5pm to 11pm Monday to Friday and on weekends 12pm to 11pm. "The proposal would not have a significant adverse impact on the amenity of occupiers of existing buildings."
