LAGOS, Nigeria – Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has begun the final countdown to the release of his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, describing the project as “musical royalty from top to bottom”. Okay News reports that the new post advances a rollout that began in June, when Davido announced ORIADÉ as the follow-up to his 2025 album, 5ive. Apple Music lists the project as a 13-song release under Davido Music Worldwide, with an exclusive licence to Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited. The album arrives as Davido marks 15 years since his breakthrough in Nigeria’s music industry. Davido has not announced a separate launch event in Nigeria in the latest post.
