Melanie Field will be playing Mary, taking over from the previously announced Awa Sal Secka. Signature Theatre announced the cast and creative team for Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along, based on the original play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart and featuring a book by George Furth. Directed and choreographed by Signature Theatre artistic director Matthew Gardiner, with music direction by Jon Kalbfleisch, the production runs August 25–November 1 in Signature’s MAX Theatre. As previously announced, Merrily We Roll Along stars Jason Gotay as Franklin Shepard and Jake Loewenthal as Charley Kringas. Melanie Field will play Mary Flynn, taking over for the previously announced Awa Sal Secka, who will now be making her Broadway debut in Wanted this fall.
