Investing.com -- Koch Inc. is considering a sale of Edged, the data center developer it cofounded, in a transaction that could exceed $15 billion, according to a Bloomberg report Tuesday. Koch established Edged alongside entrepreneur Jakob Carnemark to develop, construct and operate data centers using a waterless cooling system. Growing demand from major technology companies for computing power and capacity has accelerated data center construction worldwide. Blackstone Inc. filed for an initial public offering of a new data center acquisition vehicle earlier this year.
