Baxandall-inspired hardware EQ overhauledTK Audio’s Baxandall-inspired hardware EQ unit has just made a return, bringing the popular unit back into the company’s product range with a fresh new look and some behind-the-scenes tweaks. As with its predecessor, the TK-Lizer 3 includes three bands of EQ along with a pair of high-pass filters, and boasts an onboard Mid-Side encoder and decoder. TK Audio say that the latest version will directly replace the discontinued TK-Lizer 2, and introduces several improvements over the previous design. As before, the TK-Lizer’s three bands each offer a choice of six frequencies and provide ±4dB of gain.
