July 28 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration ‌on Tuesday proposed ‌speeding approvals of commercial space licenses, ​allowing the agency to waive environmental and other requirements ‌from 13 ⁠federal laws. The FAA said the ⁠rule if finalized would allow the ​agency to ​waive ​requirements under ‌the Endangered Species Act, parts of the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air ‌Act, the ​National Historic ​Preservation ​Act, and ‌other environmental and natural ​resource ​laws in a bid "to simplify and ​expedite ‌commercial space licensing."
