On Tuesday, again the Jammu & Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association (JKNHMEA) in a press conference in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the continued delay in addressing their long-pending demands.
The association warned the government that it will resume its deferred agitation if the Government fails to take concrete action by August 15, 2026.
Despite repeated assurances, the Association said that no concrete progress has been made so far, causing widespread disappointment among NHM employees who continue to provide essential healthcare services across the Union Territory with dedication and professionalism.
“NHM employees have exercised utmost restraint and patience despite prolonged uncertainty.
The Association added that all their demands are genuine and focused on ensuring financial security and dignity for NHM employees serving the healthcare sector with unwavering commitment for years.
