Srinagar, July 28: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has directed all educational institutions and offices across North Kashmir to install complaint boxes within seven days to strengthen transparency, accountability and the grievance redressal mechanism. The grievances received are to be examined promptly, appropriate action taken, and a proper record of complaints along with the action taken maintained. The department has directed all concerned officers to ensure strict compliance with the instructions within seven days from the date of issuance of the circular. Following the completion of the deadline, the Chief Education Officers of Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara have been asked to submit a consolidated compliance report regarding the installation of complaint boxes in all schools and offices under their jurisdiction to the Office of the Joint Director North. The circular, issued by Hakeem Tanveer Ahmad, Joint Director North, School Education Department, Kashmir, aims to provide students, employees and the public with a direct platform to register grievances while promoting greater transparency and accountability in the education system across North Kashmir.
