The Philadelphia 76ers are now the fourth favorite to win the 2027 NBA Finals following the addition of LeBron James. The Sixers follow the Oklahoma City Thunder (+260), San Antonio Spurs (+270) and New York Knicks (+900). James could plausibly be the third option in a lineup that includes Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe. There will be a lot of adjustments as Embiid, Brown, James and Maxey learn how to optimize one another on the court. James, who missed 22 games in 2025-26, isn't getting any younger, either.
